Met behulp van de stop motion techniek verbeeld ik scènes, waar de camera standpunt dezelfde blijft. Waar het in mijn project om gaat is het benaderen van grenzen op verschillende niveaus. Enerzijds technisch, door het werken tussen de media fotografie en bewegend beeld. Anderzijds wil ik inhoudelijk de grenzen van de waarneming opzoeken. Als eindproduct kan men denken aan een audiovisuele installatie.

In collaboration with media artist Eleanor Grootoonk. I made a series of photo illustrations for an assignment by the council of Harderwijk. The illustrations were used in a publication and for a series of postcards. We developed the style of the illustrations and created digital collages with pictures we took in Harderwijk. Cineanalogies collection of analogical movie scenes.

Fascinated by the notion that certain movie images recur in all kind of films, I started collecting. From 70 movies I collected similar film scenes and began to study them, trying to find out more about those stereotype scenes. The results of my analysis and all kind of data I collected are visualized in different ways, sketches, infographics, animations, collages, etc. Lighting a cigarette in a car.
